The IT landscape has changed markedly in the last twelve months. The "on-off-on again-perhaps off again" introduction of IR35 coupled with the radical changes imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic have meant that normal investment and development cycles have been hugely disrupted.

DigitalTeddy Solutions recognises that many organisations know that they need "some" assistance, but are not in a position to commit to a long term engagement at this time, or to define exactly what they need. This need can be met by our IT Consultancy packages

• A "bundle" of time, measured in either hours, or days
• Draw down at any time, as and when needed*
• A flexible engagement to use as you see fit.
• *within a twelve month period

A consultancy package allows organisations to access point-in-time IT architecture and development management expertise, without having to commit to a 3 or 6 month contract which can lead to periods of lower engagement.

How does it work?

Start by purchasing the package (or packages) that you need.

This gives you a block of time that you can draw down on, and a definition of the size of block you can draw down (either hours or days).

We will give you access to the scheduling calendar and simply pick the starting time or day that works best for you, along with how long you need.

For each booking we will look for some basic, but detailed information:

• What do you want to achieve?
• What output are you expecting?
• Who are the stakeholders?
• Will they be present or available during the scheduled time?
• Are there any risks or challenges that you know about now?
• Are there milestones, submission deadlines or other relevant targets that we should be aware of?

As you use up the time in your purchased bundle we will send out monthly statements, allowing you plan forward and estimate your needs.

If this is your first package we would look to initially schedule 30 minutes with the leadership to understand the specifics of what the board or senior leadership team needs, any technical or access logistical requirements that we will need, and to gain a broad understanding of your IT and IT Development landscape. This initial call will not count against your package. 

For each booked block of time we assign a period of "prep" time so that we can hit the ground running. This time is generally 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the size of block booked. If you feel that additional offline work is required (for example to provide a briefing note on a technology and then present that) then we would work with you to size the scheduling request to ensure a high quality deliverable.
